Well, sometimes you wanna go with custom solution like ubiquiti router and Wireless access points or sometimes you can pick one up according to your needs, whatever fits your bill is best for you.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. The cheaper you go, the less functionality you'll get. The more you spend the better functionality you'll get. It also depends if you want a router that support DD-WRT flashing.
